Q What do you enjoy most about teaching?
A I love getting to know the students and sharing my love for learning with them!

Q How would you describe yourself as a teacher?
A A little on the peppy side ;)… but not too crazy!

Q When did you decide to become a teacher and why?
A My first memory of wanting to be a teacher was in 1st grade. I adored my teacher, Mrs. Ward, and I wanted to be just like her!

Q Can you give an example of a time when a teacher impacted your life?
A I was blessed to have many wonderful teachers throughout my years at Chandler! Mrs. Boyd was my 2nd grade teacher.  I have always admired how she was able to NEVER raise her voice, but she still somehow managed to keep us under control and engaged!

Q What is the biggest challenge you face as a teacher?
A There is only one of me and 26 of them in my class!! I want to give them all individual attention and make them feel important. It is quite hard to do with such a big class.

Holly and her husband Drew have three children: Brayden (11), Cali (8) and Elli (6).  She enjoys spending time with her family, and loves to scuba dive.
