COVID-19 Updates

Chandler Public Schools will resume with Distance Learning on Monday, April 6, 2020.
Per the State Department of Education, Chandler Public Schools will resume with Distance Learning on Monday, April 6th.  Our staff is in the process of creating a plan for our district.  Each student and or family should be expected to be contacted by a teacher next week before April 6th.  Chandler Public Schools are not just the buildings – it is the community of people that work together to meet the needs of the children in our community.  Schools are not just teachers, it is our counselors, our school nurses, and it is our support staff, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, maintenance staff, parents, grandparents, and community members. Without each member working together – educating our students would be very difficult. So in advance, I would like to thank each of you for your patience as we move through uncharted waters. We will not be perfect and we will have situations that we did not anticipate.  We are asking that you show grace in those situations and communicate those situations with your child’s teacher or principal.  However, please know that we will always work hard to do what is best for our students.
Respectfully,
Melody Toma, Superintendent
