Chandler Public Schools

Jill Lambert started working at Chandler Public Schools in September of 2015.  She was hired as the Superintendent’s secretary, and effective this school year she is also now the Child Nutrition Director.  Jill grew up in Davenport where she graduated in 2000. 

Q  What do you enjoy most about working for the school?
A  I love having the same schedule as my kids. It’s really hard since my husband works out of state and
is gone a lot. Working for the school I am able to always be available for them. I also love the staff I
work with on a daily basis. The women I work for are amazing. (I’m pretty sure we could rule the
world). LOL

Q  If you could do any job (anywhere) for just one day, what would you do?
A  I have never really thought about this, but I love anything that involves a mystery. I guess I would love
to be an FBI investigator or profiler for a day.

Q  What three words would people use to describe you?
A  I hope that they would say I am kind, a hard worker and someone that is determined. I think you should always strive to be better.

Q  Best vacation you’ve ever taken?
A  My husband and I went to Jamaica last summer and we had an amazing time. This summer I am
planning on taking my daughter Kylie to Turks and Caicos for her senior trip, so it will be right up
there with going to Jamaica as the best.

Q  What is your favorite movie? 
A  I have so many favorite movies I could never pick just one. I will say that I love Romantic Comedies,
Crime & Mystery, Action and Disney or Pixar anything.

Q  What is something that might surprise readers to learn about you?
A  I’m not really sure. I feel like I am an open book. Ask and I will answer. I did get married at 18 years old to my high school sweetheart, Clint Lambert (a Chandler graduate). We ran off to Eureka Springs the July after I graduated. We were supposed to pick my brother up for his birthday to take him bowling and we never showed up. He is still bitter about it.  We got married at the Chapel of Love on July 15, 2000. We will celebrate our 20th anniversary this year. Our kids love to hear the story of us running off to get married.

Q  What are your hobbies and interests?
A  I love going to the movies, watching softball, riding side by sides, and anything that involves hanging
out with my family.
