Chandler students Cali Hilgenfeld, Tatum Crouch, Lauren Dollarhite, Shakoda Wright and Kaylee Choate (not pictured) attended Oklahoma Girls State last week in Edmond. Crouch was elected as a state representative as well as Speaker of the House. 

American Legion Auxiliary Oklahoma Girls State is a unique and exciting government-in-action learning program in which the American Legion Auxiliary guides young women, who have completed their junior year, to become knowledgeable stewards of freedom, democracy and patriotism. The 2024 session of Girls State was held at the University of Central Oklahoma May 26-31.
