Education Foundation

The Chandler Education Foundation was formed in 2003 for the purposes of:

a)     Enhancing the quality of education and increasing community involvement for Chandler Public Schools by fostering partnerships that support excellence and innovation.
b)     Providing supplemental funding for Chandler Public Schools to support or to enhance and expand educational programming such as innovation grants for extended programming and services or funding for equipment and materials.

The Foundation operates as a Donor Advised Fund managed by Communities Foundation of Oklahoma and is governed by a board of five members. The board reviews grant applications each fall to support faculty-led, student-focused education projects within the Chandler Public School District and awards up to $1500 for the fulfilment of the winning submission(s). Selections are made based on established need, educational validity and value, and scope of student impact.
